THE VENICE CAMELS |
|||
Once upon a time... about 100 years ago, a man named Abbot Kinney created a beachfront town called Venice of America. It was a mash up of Venice, Italy and Coney Island: with canals, Italian architecture, poets, musicians, artists, a miniature train, wild roller coasters, grand dance halls, huge salt water swimming pools, colorful carousels, crazy attractions.....and live CAMEL rides. |

In celebration of Venice's forever artistic and exotic spirit, I've recreated the historic snapshot in life sized TOPIARY SCULPTURES. See them now strolling along 600 Main Street. Please help water their vines whenever possible. 2015 For more of my Venice art see: VenicePublicArt.com |
